The Salts Medilink Stoma Nurse team are a team of clinical nurse specialists in stoma care who operate clinical partnerships with the NHS in various locations in England.
Medilink Nurse Connect
The Medilink Nurse Connect is a virtual clinical service for anyone in England and Wales who has a colostomy, ileostomy and/or urostomy. You must be at least 12 months post-surgery and not currently under the care of a stoma nurse. Benefits of accessing this virtual service:
- Access to a clinical nurse specialist in stoma care
- No travelling to and from hospital. Appointments are carried out from the comfort of your own home
- Flexible appointments to suit you
- Signposting to appropriate healthcare professionals if required
- Save a visit or call to your GP and therefore their time
